Carli Heggen is a Seattle based design and branding consultant.
Her work focuses on the intersection of visual and verbal storytelling and aims to share the
brightest and most beautiful ideas with the world. For over 12 years she has been helping
corporations, makers, and cultural institutions such as Chevy, CORE 77, DESIGN 21, DKNY,
Metropolis, MTV, Nestlé, Quirky, Sony, and World Science Festival tell their stories. Carli has
taught at NYU, Pratt Art Institute, and Purchase College. She has collaborated with a variety
of institutions and non-profit organizations such as 826CHI, School of Visual Arts, and Open:Output.
Carli's work has been featured in numerous publications, including Fashion Theory and
Fast Company. Her editorial writing has appeared in 100 Days of Design, CRIT, DESIGN 21,
Metropolis, and The Quirky Blog. She is a graduate of the MFA Designer as Entrepreneur
program at the School of Visual Arts and Oregon State University's BFA Graphic Design program.
